New short story series – Inhuman Memoirs

So, in an effort to try and expand the world of Forget Me Not, I’ve started a new series of short stories done in the style of a collection of memoirs. Zach, the main character of Forget Me Not, is the interviewer and transcriber. Who better to search out those that even the supernatural looks over?

The first in the series is Betsy Lind, a vampire that talks about her thrall and exposes the kind of potential fate that Zach might have had to deal with had things gone differently.

New Drabble: Dandelion

So, I got someone who wanted a flash fiction/drabble commission. Their prompt was a dragon who adopts a little kid. Dandelion is the result of that.

Warnings for a bittersweet ending.

New artwork!

So recently, I was given a few gifts. A friend knew how down I was feeling and commissioned me a drawing, and shortly before that I’d posted a very big worldbuilding thing on Tumblr, prompting someone else to draw me some other artwork.

I can never say no to free art, of course, so now that everything’s completed I’m putting them up here on WLCO for everyone to see.

Sar was done by Pootporri over on Tumblr.

Both of these lovely Seishak drawings were done by Jayrock, again over on Tumblr.

Writing on commission!

Let’s be frank here: I currently have no cash, and I’d love to get WLCO its own domain name. WordPress offers domain name registration and site mapping for a whopping $17.

My goal is to write like the wind and maybe get enough cash to be able to do that. I might be underselling my talents, but I’m stuck on medical leave with nothing but time.

PRICING:

  • Flash fiction (less than 1000 words) is only $1!
  • Short stories less than 5000 words are only $5
  • Short stories between 5000 and 8000 words are $7
  • Short stories between 8000 and 10,000 words are $10
  • Erotic content is $.50 more for flash fiction, $.75 more for stories up to 5000 words, and $1 more for stories above 5000 words

RULES:

  • I will not, under any circumstance, write fanfiction on commission. This includes fanmade characters!
  • I reserve the right to display the finished story on my website. If you’re uncomfortable with this, we can try to come to an agreement.

PAYMENT:

  • Paypal only! Sorry, but unless you live in the same town as I do (doubtful), I’m going to have to ask that you send me money via Paypal, ludicrous as their fees are for my current prices.

CONTACT ME When emailing me, please put “Regarding Commissions” in the subject line so I can find it if it’s sent to spam.

New Drabble: Dice

I wanted to write some femslashy fluff, and was looking around to try and figure out some sort of scenario. I laid eyes on my 100-sided die, and just had to write a silly little drabble about a dice collector.

You can find the story Here.

New drabble: Fun in the Kitchen

Something short and kinda cute involving Corbin and Indra, from Indra’s POV. Indra’s kind of tough to work with, unlike Corbin. But I think it turned out sweet all the same. :3

Go read it here.

So glad I started writing something original again. Inspired by a hilarious scene involving Corbin’s decision to buy a house based entirely on the quality of its kitchen.

I really should be working on something else

So, I posted up another two chapters of Big Brother over on Archive of Our Own. Guys, I think I need halp. I can’t stop writing this fic and I have, like other stuff to work on? xD idek, this thing is just growing beyond what I originally intended and is becoming an entity all its own.

Not that I’m complaining, mind. Somehow, I’ve gotten, as of this blog post: 75 kudos, 29 comments (a good portion of them are me replying to others), 14 bookmarks and 1220 hits. On only four chapters.

This is quite possibly my most popular fanfic ever. I am not used to internet fame and I seriously am just in awe of the fact this thing I started on a whim because someone else’s picture and short blurb of a fic made me need to write something is getting so big.

But seriously. I have a Corbin story to write. If I could spend half as much time on that as I have on Big Brother, I might actually be done with the damn thing :/ Fandom, why u do this 2 me?
